So Dad was driving me home and had this big goofy smile on his face. I wondered what on earth was happening because he rarely had that smile now that Stockmarket is descending at the rate of a speeding bullet. He doesn't give an answer and says that I'll know when I got home.  And there it was... on my own working table, a shiny piece of machinery I had practically seen everyone have except for moi

...A LAPTOP!! *hallelujah chorus commences.

Yep, a actual real existing laptop, I was overjoyed. Turned out Grandparents wouldn't be here on my birthday coz they have to go back to China and they wanted to buy me an early b'day present! The computer is awesome! It is so private that before you can enter it, it scans your face. Now only I can use it...*evil laugh Not that I'm plotting anything.  My excitement soon died when I discovered a Mount Everest sized pile of homework next to that present ALL DUE IN TWO DAYS because teachers think we'll be able to finish it in in that short period of time. But the worst was yet to come... the next day; our old computer caught this strange virus and ALL our files were DELETED... FIVE years of my work was gone... after all that time, my favourite photos and everything...Sometimes I wonder if it's possible to feel happy for one second without drowning in misery in the next.
